A.I.E. offers the following accommodation options in Buenos Aires: Homestay, and Private Apartments. All prices are quoted in US Dollars.

HOMESTAY:

PRICES 2011: Homestay: - Private room, with only breakfast: US$ 195 per week. (7 nights, breakfast included). - Private room, without meals: US$ 185 per week per person. (7 nights). Note: For Dinner provided at home: host families charge only US$10 for each dinner: you can pay for each dinner directly at the family. It has one big advantage for you: you only pay for the dinner you will effectively take. Many students go to restaurants or bars for dinner some days of the week, so you can arrange with the host family and pay only for the dinners you will take. It is a very flexible homestay program.

- Accommodation in argentine family homes. The family has the advantage that you can practice your Spanish all the time and know more about our culture.
- Breakfast and dinner provided at home (optional).
- Confortable and large private/double rooms.
- Students are able to cook and use the home as if it were their own home.
- Family homes are located in neighborhoods near the school and the center of the city. All families have been carefully selected and are monitored so that your home stay experience is to your complete satisfaction. Living standards are either similar than in Europe or North America.

Our apartments are located a few blocks to the Obelisk and our school. All our apartments in this building have a balcony facing the street. Luminous apartments. Beautiful and modern style. Walking distance to everything you may need: theatres, cinemas, bookshops, banks, hundreds of bars and restaurants, shopping areas and commercial stores, discos, laundries, internet cafes, gyms, supermarkets, ATMs, all tourist attractions, etc.

All apartments have the same characteristics. The only difference: some apartments have one separate bedroom (for 4 persons) and other apartments are studio.bedroom apartments (for 1 or 2 persons). If you come alone you do not have to share your apartment.

Please note our private apartments have an incredible demand, so please fulfill booking and payment procedures well in advance.

We do not use Real Estate agents. Our private apartments are an unique service for our students.

PRICES 2011:

Note: for stays shorter than 2 weeks the prices are: US$ 50 per night/day for the studio.apartment and US$ 62 per night/day for the 1 bedroom apartment.

Prices are quoted per apartment (not per person).

To book your apartment you just need to pay a small deposit: 30% of the total amount of your stay. The remaining amount (70%) can be paid directly on your arrival date at the apartment.

You can book the apartment for single days at the same price (proportionately for each day). For example you can book for 2 weeks and 1 extra day. The cost of this extra day is the same weekly cost, divided by seven. We do not charge extra fees for single days.

You can choose the arrival date and the departure date, year-round.

Other important thing of our apartments: all apartments are located in the same building (28 apartments in the same building), with a front desk person in the lobby 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is very important because if you have any kind of problem with the apartment (any kind of problem, something broken, some thing you may need, etc, etc) we will solve your problem in just a few minutes. Please consider this is very important: other apartments offered by Internet Portals or other schools, they use Real Estate agencies for apartments, so if you have any problem with them you have to call/inform the Site Portal, then the school have to inform to the Real estate agent, and then the agency have to contact the owner, then the apartment owner needs to contact the plumber/electrician etc, and it may take weeks to be solved. This is very usual and just a few persons think about this before the reservation. As we already know this will be very important on your stay, the private apartments have a front desk person on the entrance of the apartment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all days of your stay. It has also other advantage: in your first day and in your departure date you can arrive/depart at any time , i.e. at 9am or 3am is the same for us, etc, and you always can pick-up the keys at the lobby of the apartment. Also, there is Medical assistance available 24 hours a day.

Late Check in/ Out: US$ 15.- (out of time 9am-6pm, or on Saturdays, Sundays & holidays).

The check in time is set at 14:00 but can be changed if there is no other guest in the property before leaving the same day. The check out time is set at 10:00 but can be changed if the property is not rented to other guest the same day that you leave. The rent includes all the property's services and taxes such as: The Property's Common Expenses, Taxes, Light, Gas, Water, Telephone, Cable TV Bills and maid service. Lugabe owns these apartments offering the service of lodging, and we offer the service of booking. The rent contract and attached inventory will be signed between you and them, and as soon as you arrive you shall pay the rest of your stay, and the guest will receive the apartment keys.

If you have a credit card: NO GUARANTEE DEPOSIT will be needed! Your card numbers will be copied (and not charged) and if there is something broken at the end of your stay they will charge the credit card accordingly. If you do not have a credit card you can leave a guarantee deposit at the apartment, that will be reimbursed once the stay has finished. If there are damages, the tenant must pay them in accordance with the cost set forth in the inventory.
